Welcome to the Australian Electric Karting League (AEKL).
By registering for an event, purchasing any service, or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. Services
AEKL provides electric karting championship participation services, including but not limited to:
- Championship race entries
- Driver registrations
- Arrive & Drive packages
- Practice sessions
- Driver coaching
- Race mechanic support
- Media packages
- Tyres and race-related services
- Other motorsport services offered through the website
These services are provided for scheduled motorsport events and are subject to availability.
2. Event Registration
Submitting an order does not guarantee participation until payment has been successfully received and your registration has been confirmed by AEKL.
AEKL reserves the right to limit entries or refuse registrations where necessary to ensure safe and fair competition.
3. Driver Responsibilities
By participating in any AEKL event, drivers confirm that they:
- Meet the minimum age requirements for their class.
- Will comply with all sporting and technical regulations.
- Will follow all instructions given by officials and event staff.
- Accept responsibility for their own conduct throughout the event.
- Understand that motorsport involves inherent risks.
Drivers may be excluded from an event without refund if they engage in dangerous, abusive, or unsporting behaviour.
4. Payments
All prices are displayed in the applicable currency unless otherwise stated.
Payment must be completed before participation is confirmed.
AEKL reserves the right to update pricing without prior notice for future events.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.
By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted that policy.
6. Event Changes
AEKL may change event schedules, venues, formats, race procedures, or timetables where reasonably necessary.
Where practical, participants will be notified of significant changes in advance.
7. Intellectual Property
All logos, branding, photographs, videos, graphics, championship names, website content and promotional materials remain the property of AEKL or their respective owners.
No content may be copied or reproduced without prior written permission.
8. Photography and Media
By participating in an AEKL event, you grant AEKL permission to photograph, film and record your participation.
These materials may be used for promotional, educational, marketing, broadcast and social media purposes without additional compensation.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AEKL shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from participation in an event or use of this website.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and is used only for event administration, communication and championship operations.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in accordance with the applicable Australian laws and regulations.
